Summer on the Farm
Sharing and Spreading Hope - a non profit coming alongside Winney Farm
Sharing and Spreading Hope is a non-profit
that exists to make space for joy, beauty,
and togetherness. Our dream is to keep the
Fall Festival free, continuing to share our
flower bouquets on the street and expand
our farm events with experiences like
wreath making and gingerbread houses—
bringing our community simple moments
that feel meaningful and memorable.

Volunteer Opportunities!
There are many ways to volunteer at the farm, whether you’re eager to get your hands in the soil, spend time with animals, or help make our community gatherings possible. Our hope is to offer ongoing volunteer opportunities throughout the year, with current needs shared right here on our website and simple ways for you to indicate your interest in helping.
Volunteer tasks may include planting seed starts, greenhouse planting, pumpkin planting, and weeding, as well as caring for our animals—brushing the dogs, grooming horses, and tending to chickens. We also welcome extra hands during special events like our Fall Festival. For those interested in learning more about where food comes from, opportunities such as chicken processing may be available.
Whether you’re joining us for a day or returning season after season, your time and energy help keep the farm growing and thriving. We are deeply grateful for every person who shows up to share in the work, the learning, and the beauty of life on the farm.
The Best Bainbridge Has to Offer
As meat lovers who also adore animals, we believe in giving every creature on our farm the best quality of life. Each animal, from the cows to the pigs, has a name, a testament to the respect and care we provide. Our intentional small-scale approach ensures that our environmental impact is minimal and our land thrives.
Our journey began in 2011 when Brian, our farm manager, penned the vision for Heyday Farm. In January 2022, we took the reins, acquiring the farm side of the business and rebranding it as Winney Farm, a nod to its historic roots. The Winney family's legacy lives on through our historic barns and our commitment to preserving the land's history.
Discover a wide selection of products at Winney Farm, including poultry, beef, pork, pantry items, fresh produce, and exclusive merchandise. We are excited to announce that soon we'll be adding our own locally-grown produce to our offerings, thanks to a grant for a new greenhouse.
We're more than just a farm store; we're a community hub. Throughout the year, we host festivals and community gatherings at the farm, providing a beautiful and welcoming setting for everyone to enjoy. Come see us at our self-serve farm store, open every day, and experience the Winney Farm difference.
